A collection of rare and never-seen photos of Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe taken by a devoted fans in the 1950s is up for auction.
The 183 images that have emerged are from the personal collection of James Collins, a member of the 'Monroe Six', a group of superfans who followed the actress around New York City so often that she knew them by name and granted them special access to her life.
James' photos were taken in New York in the mid-1950s and feature snapshots of her wearing her famous white dress from the 1954 film The Seven Year Itch and lounging at luxurious hotels, while others are autographed by Marilyn herself. Continue ...
