In an earlier blog, this week, I mentioned the cancellation of an eight-part-miniseries on the lives of Kennedy couple Jack and Jackie. Commissioned by the History Channel, the series was cancelled due to alleged inaccuracies. Word on the street is that Kennedy cousins, Maria Shriver and Caroline Kennedy lobbied hard for its withdrawal.

He was captured in Buenos Aires in 1960 but had reveled in an extra eight years of freedom courtesy of Germany's foreign intelligence service, BND, who knew Eichmann's location in Argentina in 1952, under the name Clemens or Ricardo Klement.
History had recorded that Western intelligence knew of his location initially in 1956. Argentine journalists are pragmatic in reacting to this sensational turn of events - research informs them that the German Embassy in Buenos Aires knew who the Nazis were and where they hid - the German community was small and well aquainted and impossible to hide from BND agents.

This is great good news! I've waited a long, long time and almost gave up on her once but she pulled it together and now we can look forward, at long last for new music from the incomparable, inimitable, original performer of her generation - Amy Winehouse!
