A book and a movie must be done on the life of this dude.
Teen hacker turn global Internet-entrepreneur - 19 in 1999, he created Napster with an even younger, Shawn Fanning and in the summer of 2004, joined Mark Zuckerberg as founding president of Facebook. Two of most significant companies in the history of the Internet.
His friends have described him as a web oracle, a genius and visionary who knows how people want to incorporate Web networks into their lives.
Akin to a mad scientist who misses deadlines and appointments; he disappears for weeks and studiously avoids the press. A social rebel, he scorns superficial society - my kinda mind! An autodidact, he barely finished high school, devoured books as a child and learnt programming from his father at 7 years old.
His knowledge and instinct is tuned to "re-architecting" society, that is, technology not business or government drive large scale social shifts. He can predict where technology is moving.
With his dreams realized he has the ability to do interesting things and the wealth to be free.
