If you grew up in the 80s you may agree that Sixteen Candles was the quintessential teen classic. Molly Ringwald (always) and Anthony Michael Hall (hilarious) starred but a host of other would-be stars including the Cusack siblings John n' Joan make this movie one of the greatest. The grandparents are the bomb too.

Reminds me of another movie I love, love, love Can't Hardly Wait ... Jennifer Love Hewitt and Peter Facinelli - all star cast as well - is a take-off of 80s high school movies.
