Queen Arsinoe II ~ 316-270 BC

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

Queen Arsinoe II was a female Pharoah who founded the Ptolemaic Dynasty!

An ignorant time now awakening to the voices of all ages that women have rocked since the first sun broke at dawning.

Listened to a BBC discussion in Sierra Leone where men were at pains to declare why women are unfit  rulers.  Explanations included - women are easily fooled by men, women fall apart under pressure and lose thier cool, with women rulers the civil war in Sierra Leone would have been much worse.  Of course the women in the discussion wiped the floor with them.

I think we have seen the full "capabilities" of men which is why we women are slowly overlapping them at every turn - most still have not noticed and that is no surprise to us women.
