is a non-profit organization in California willing give $200 to addicts who agree to be sterilized.

It's mission - "Save our welfare system and the world from the exorbitant cost to the taxpayer for each drug-addicted birth" by offering "effective preventive measures to reduce the tragedy of numerous drug-affected pregnancies."

Every year millions of children are born drug addicted to addicted mothers and join an overwhelmed foster-care system to face continued neglect and abuse.

Detractors call this solution an off-shoot of eugenics.

Margaret Sanger, 1930s advocate of birth control as a tool for women and population control was a product of her time when eugenics was popular.  She held birth control as the solution for reducing the population of the "feeble-minded" and mentally ill.

CRACK offers money to the economically weak who are undesirable for reproduction.  Accused of coercion and financial manipulation  of the vulnerable - mainstream reproductive rights advocates call foul on a cause that attacks an embedded human right to reproduce.

As for me - I am unapologetically against any and all scenarios of parenthood that compromise the stable nurturing of a child ... no puritanical rubbish entertained here.

Cruelty is abomidable and no cause that incarcerates and destroys is acceptable but taking responsibility for our decisions require stringent and vigilant social regulation.
