Five decades ago Elvis Presley, a fresh 21 year old, was caught smouldering with a mysterious young lady.

She was Bobbi Owens then - now Barbara Gray and she has been revealed as the mystery girl captured in that summer shot taken in 1956.  Their photo became an iconic image dubbed "The Kiss."

He was a rock 'n' roll legend who wrote Jailhouse Rock and Hound Dog. Hound Dog, first released in 1953 and performed by blues legend Big Mama Thornton -saw Presley's version hit rock stardom 3 years later. 

He also penned Stand By Me, On Broadway, Spanish Harlem, Santa Claus is Back in Town, Love Potion Number Nine and more ....

Prolific genius who stood tall with the giants of rock 'n'roll.
