A dusty folder reveals the drawings of an 1890 wonder of modern engineering that remained the world's tallest structure for a record 41 years but at 1,063 ft. is still the tallest building in Paris. It was named for its designer Gustave Eiffel an egineer and built at the entrance of the 1889 World's Fair..
A young English artist made sketches of its process of construction in intricate detail which included Parisians enjoying their city's new attraction - Warwick Herbert Draper was a young student in Paris in 1887-1890, his drawings are testiment to his talent as he combined draughtsmanship with human study.
Passed down by relatives through time - the collection will be auctioned.
