Kennedy Revelations

More revelations from the other side.  Historian Arthur M.Schelsinger's 1964 interview with Jackie Kennedy revisits instances of the long known enmity between brothers JFK and RFK with LBJ - they even discussed strategies to prevent LBJ gaining the democratic nomination.

Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy is based on seven sessions that includes references to the Bay of Pigs and the President's choice of 1952 Senate race opponent Republican Henry Cabot Lodge as Ambassador in Vietnam having been convinced of their military defeat.  Her comments included unflattering references to Martin Luther King.

Earlier thoughts on her husband's assassination were shared with historian William Manchester but revelations will be delayed until 2067.

Another book on the horizon promises to expose the mythical romance between RFK and Jackie Kennedy.

Its salacious contents are in turn stupifying and disturbing and one wonders whether we need to know them at all.

The historical record will not be stymied however ... so here we are.
