Black and white candid photos in New York's underground subway in the 1960s will showcase a space without graffitti and of hopeful expectation - JFK was poised to become President and segregation laws had recently receded.

An exhibition by surreptitious photographer Enrico Natali will be at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art from January 14 to April 22.
