23 March 1534 – Parliament Declares the Validity of the Marriage of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn

On 23 March in 1534, Parliament passed the First Act of Succession and declared the marriage of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn valid and that the succession would pass through the heirs of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.
