Photo: Fort Balcarres, Falmouth, Jamaica. "Plan and Sections showing the Old Covering over the Casemated Barrack and the new covering of Concrete and Seysell Asphalte at the Perch Rock Battery, Liverpool". This seems to have been part of a plan to strengthen Fort Balcarres in Falmouth based on the designs of an existing Fort in England. It is not known if the plan was carried out.
