Henry Moore

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

RECLINING FIGURE (1951)

Henry Moore, born 30 July 1898.

English sculptor and artist best known for his semi-abstract monumental sculptures which are located around the world as public works of art. His forms are usually abstractions of the human figure, their undulating forms suggesting the landscape and hills of his birthplace, Yorkshire.
