de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception
Made of wood and zinc, wattle and
daub and even
stone, these houses are both delightful for their quaint charm and
pleasing for the memories they evoke.
Note
particularly in the countryside that steps are sometimes taken to
renovating old houses.
Surely we want these homes to stand as a reminder of our
rich colonial past. In a few cases we have
old English manors.
Even when bland or run down, shiny red steps are a staple
and what
could be more charming than an old convert. This time from an old station
house to an old (new) house.
