The British Library's release of hundreds of thousands of images into the public domain (http://theappendix.net/blog/2013/12/the-british-library-just-made-one-million-images-public-domain) is what made news this week, but its worth checking out the Bibliothèque Nationale de France's digitized archives as well. This dragon and princess duo are from a late 15th century book of hours.
