April 2013 was the 35th anniversary of the One Love Peace Concert headlined by the king of reggae Bob Marley, at the National Stadium in Kingston. Many remember the momentous occasion on April 22, 1978 when then Prime Minister Michael Manley and Opposition Leader Edward Seaga joined hands with Bob Marley on stage as a stance for peace. The One Love Peace Concert was attended by over 32,000 persons including international media and recording artistes such as Mick Jagger. The concert was rated by the BBC as one of the top 10 rock concerts in the world.
