A few weeks ago, LIFE received an email from a woman in Arizona, mentioning that her parents' wedding had been featured in a long-ago issue of LIFE magazine. When we learned that the photos of the wedding had been taken by LIFE staffer William Vandivert -- one of the 20th century's greatest photojournalists — we were intrigued. We contacted the daughter, learned quite a bit about the family, and decided to once again feature pictures from the 1937 wedding of Irene Kaluza and Boleslaus "Benny" Krzystofczyk.
