Omar Sharif

 Omar Sharif, the Egyptian born film legend won the New Star of the Year Award and the Best Supporting Actor Award in 1963 for "Lawrence of Arabia" and the Best Actor  Golden Globe for "Dr. Zhivago" in 1966. Notable films in his long career also include the musical "Funny Girl" (1968), the romantic tragedy "Mayerling" (1968) and the French film "Monsieur Ibrahim" (2003) which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Golden Globe Award. He was 83.
