Arsenic and Old Lace

On this day in 1944, Frank Capra's "Arsenic and Old Lace," based on the hit Broadway comedy starring Cary Grant and Priscilla Lane, opened in theaters. 

The film was shot in 1941 but not released until the play closed on Broadway.
