Human cruelty if often considered part of human nature.
The drive to hurt, belittle and ostracize what we don't understand or accept in others is as old as human history itself.

Bam Bam says his party got a "shellacking" - backlash against Obama and Pelosi's filibustering.

Although voters accept the bubble bursting was of Republican and not Democratic making - they expected Obama and his team to have turned the ship in a mere 18 months of helming.

Obviously this is unrealistic but predictably voters have little or no soul searching to their thinking.

That Elisabeth Haselbeck annoys me so.  She highjacked my show long ago.

I love The View - never saw Debbie Matenopolous (happily) but missed Lisa Ling (wished she wouldn't go), Meredith Viera (left for the Today Show), Rosie O'donnell and Star Jones (were great).

Whoopie Goldberg, Whoop, Whoopster, Whopeeeee (is the best), Joy Behar and Barbara Walters (are the firmament) and Sherrie Shephard (has a brain that comes and goes but she is much better than before).

BUT Hasselbeck hassels my soul.  She becomes insufferably more so during election time and flaps her mouth sucking out all the air of The View studio.

I keep hoping she will leave but she won't.

Rumour has it she is Bill Geddie's Republican plant, his Republican attempt to balance the liberal Democratic slant.

NO!
HELL NO!

WHAT IS IT WITH PEOPLE?  WHY POP OUT CHILDREN WITH NO IDEA HOW TO PARENT?

Dimwits force the state to step in to tell them that this and other issues are harmful to their children.

Those "games" are vile.  Why should your child saturate their mind with those images?  Never heard of childhood imagination?  That's the wrong kind!

Kathie-Lee and Hoda highlighted a stencilled picture of a long legged woman, billowing hair, ass out to there, swirls of some sort of graphic snaking its way over her body.  The graphic adorned the back-pack of a 7 year old boy.

The school asked him to desist and his father fought the issue - the child's right as he saw it to carry this bag.  Resolution - child takes bag to school, then takes all his books out and leaves bag in principal's office until the end of school day.  I wonder if this father teaches his child with equal passion to defend human rights, bigotry and abuse in this world?

Lots of folks say, "its my opinion" and I assure you every nit-wit has one.  An opinion is not a hair-brained notion from over-heard third party conversation or anecdotal information shared with neighbourhood cronies.  An opinion is informed, has some facts, some empirical information, proof!

Folks are running around "defending" positions because they can and yet countries are hard pressed to find people to join causes against human slavery, animal cruelty, environmental damage, child abuse, hate crimes, the maladies of this world are endless but its defenders are minimal.

I have seen cats and dogs show more responsibility to off spring than some human beings.

Consciousness is such a subtle thing - it guides the mind - into the light or the dark - which one are you?

The Abbasid Caliphs

Rulers of a vast multi-cultural Islamic Dynasty

Purveyors of peaceful sophistication, other conquerors pillaged and plundered but Muslim rulers were recognized for their forays in social administration, mathematics, philosophy and literature.

I have attempted over the years to explain this historical testiment to the true nature of Islam.  A faith not founded in extreme fanaticism but cultured sophistication.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

RHWOBH is the most lavish group in the franchise.

This week the well-heeled group took in a Jay-Z concert at the Palms Hotel and Casino ... the dancing was horrific, embarassingly so, yeeesh.

Camille Grammar does dance, like a pole dancer.  She pawed her married friend who popped in temporarily, was insensitive to the women while she flirted for their husbands' attentions.  Kelsey was absent and we now know what she did not then, he had left her.  It is becoming increasingly hard to fault old Kelsey for fleeing this blondette.

Taylor, unhappily married to Russell and is yet to know it, strangely made love to cotton candy.  Behold the crazy...

Ghandi meerkat

I am a lover of all things political.  Not the politics that people perceive but the politics as originally conceived.  No group of people in the history of civilization have lived without politics - it is how humans seek to organize and manage their affairs.  The oft heard lament of people who disdain the political process are living in fairy land because once there are people there will be politics.  We would be better served to plug in and understand the issues in an informed, intelligent (dispassionate) way and vote!

I am not a fan of political intrigue, it often bores me.  I love the real deal, the issues, the debate, the manifestos that discuss solutions - short, mid and long term policies.  The intrigue, rawr-rawr, red meat nonsense is what voters love and that my friends is the problem.

Politicans must do what is expedient - it is the bitter twist.  They are chosen to make sound decisions but must also do so popularly and the two do not meet.  Politicians chose popularity, political machinery is geared to win or they lose campaign funds.  The electorate is the author, manager and decider in all things - not the politicians, despite their obvious perks they are lowly servants with a fickle master.

Politicians are carved from the electorate, they did not hatch in a county where politicians are bred.  They come from within and if they should be corrupt, cowardly or cock-eyed then they represent us because they are us.

It is widely accepted that the briber is more heinous than the bribee.  The money facilitates the bribe.  Who bribes? A member of the electorate, of course!

This past time of hating on politicians is so convenient, so comforting, after all blame them and the electorate continue to live in their jekyl/hyde existence - responsible for nothing, accountable for nothing.

Which brings me to Palin, the originator of dumb politicos.  She has spurned a locust pandemic of the righteous ignorant.  It is just a phase people - they do not have the chops to last the course.

In my love of all things political I know having been there that the loud mouths are usually encouraged by the party to take a position, run for a seat.  They are very good at bloating the ego, growing the fire of ambition  here-to-fore unknown that becomes a no-brainer - of course! I knew it all along - I am a politician with the spectre of power within my grasp!

The loud mouth steps on the national stage and then their short-comings are exposed, not well-read with deep prejudices for minority groups and so on.

I always say - the politician is always the brightest in the room, not the loudest, they are the ones who can stay the course.

Palin is not bright, the efforts to paint her as such are futile.

Homophobe Alert!

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

These types of folks always get my goat!

Their anti-stance on homosexual rights drew the usual hypocritical mush - we are not homophobes, we just don't recognize civil-unions as marriage or deem the life-choice acceptable.  The Johns have been blocked from fostering children in the UK, the result of their strong opposition to homosexuality.

Predictably they have religious objections, they are morally and spiritually opposed, they say.  They have gained support of senior clerics icluding the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The church has failed for all of the arch of history to recognize human leaps of conscience or consciousness.  The church had denied and villified ... Galileo comes to mind.  The church has silently witnessed history's worst atrocities and supported others ....  the Reich atrocities, trans-Atlantic slavery.  The Catholic church facilitated the protection of paedophilia in its ranks.  Now the church in its wisdom continues to implore that homosexuals are abhorent, aberrant, non-members of humanity.

This Christian couple, the Johns, have fostered scores of orphans and are challengers in a legal test case to set as precedent the right of Christians to foster without compromising their faith.

What does this right mean?

The right to deny homosexual children a place in society.  The right to decimate false truths in society.  The right to enshrine bigotry as a religious service to our Creator, God of love.

Have staunchly Christian families not faced the confusion of having a homosexual child and then faced rejection from society and the church cold shoulder?  Many have disowned their child, forcing them into the arms of promiscuous stereotypes, smugly realizing what they ultimately envisioned.  Where can a dejected homosexual child go?  Is it possible to expect dignity and normality?  Many homosexual couples have achieved this and should be commended and accepted!

Stable homes are best for children whether the adults are homosexual or not.  Many homosexuals have homes of love and nuture and structure but are rejected as foster parents but heterosexuals in arrogant right declare their objections and demand their right to perpetuate hate in childrens' minds.

Is our Creator a God of love? YES!

For bigots who perpetuate hate and rejection in the world .... this is how I see you:
