1920s Hollywood glamour and the outfits that took Georgian London by storm

Now some of the loveliest are to appear during a series of talks at the British Library that focus on 1920s Hollywood and the Prohibition era.
Starring icons such as Ginger Rogers, Katherine Hepburn and Theda Bara, fashion historian Amber Jane Butchart will also delve into the world of the talented costume designers who dressed them.

The stylish garb wasn't just confined to the cinema though; with magazines such as Photoplay and Vogue putting Hollywood stars on their covers and writing about every detail of their costumes - much to the delight of fans.
