Film Preservationists have uncovered one of Hitchcoçk's earliest films - the first three reels of a 1923 silent drama The White Shadow. The film starred Betty Compson.
It is the missing gap between young Hitchcock and the legendary film-maker Hitchcock. The restored film will be screened in September by the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre at the Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences HQ in Beverly Hills.
