The Loop explains why history reveals the $107,772 average wealth gap between black and white Americans.

Recognizing that US national policy has traditionally been at the root of poverty. 

In America's earliest days white Americans were bestowed the right to property ownership - the standard for transferring and trading wealth was then and is still property.  White wealth passed from generation to generation.

Enslaved black Americans were not allowed property ownership and were themselves property.  A Supreme Court decision 45 years ago finally endowed their right to own, sell, hold, lease and transfer property.
