Great Dickens Manuscript

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

The manuscript of Great Expectations by the maestro wordsmith Charles Dickens has been reproduced!

Brought back to great life, the fragile 1861 manuscript is in its original binding and reveals Dickens' rewording of phrase - a tradition soon lost with the delete button on computers that wipe away any corrections or re-wording of brilliant writers for generations to come.  Lucky are we to have this tangible gift.

The bicentenary of his death occurs next February 2012.
