A portrait of the Coronation that never was .... the unseen portrait of Edward VIII before his abdication of the throne for the love of Mrs. Simpson in December 1936.

Comissioned for a special coronation issue for the Illustrated London News that never made it to news stands the coloured portrait was recently uncovered when the publishers moved officers.
