The collection of twelve photographs, which will go under the hammer in September at Christie's auction house and are expected to fetch up to £4,000. The photographs show how O’Neill got Faithfull to create the image he desired.

Speaking of the 1964 shoot, O’Neill said: 'I wanted to make her look more sophisticated and glamorous.
