Thespians Playing Olympians

While there have been top-notch sports movies throughout cinematic history, those that feature Olympians are harder to find.

An odd fact considering the natural synergy between film and immortalized heroic efforts of Olympians. Altough there have been a few gems.

Before the memories of the flame is extinguished on the 2012 London Olympics, we shed light on a handful of the fine films portraying the lives of real Olympians. Hopefully some producers will be  inspired to create more Olympic sized stories in film.
