Listen up, NewsOne fam, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (also known as Malcolm X) was murdered on this day 48 years ago. What a tragedy to lose him! His death definitely left a void in our collective hearts and consciousness, but what of his family who lost a Father and husband? While the government and shady Blacks worked together to take our leaders down, they could never erase their legacy.
