If yearning to return to the golden age of travel, make a stop at San Francisco International Airport. The Aviation Museum in the airport's international terminal is displaying 18 uniforms designed for United Airlines flight attendants (dare we say stewardesses?) from the 1930s to the present. The fashions represent styles from top designers Ben Reig, William Travilla and Jean Louis, according to the museum.
"United We Stand" shows some of the 55 uniforms donated to the museum by the United Airlines Historical Foundation.
