PARADISE PEN, North Street

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

This old house, now a part of Kingston College, on North Street, dates from about early in the 19th century and is an authentic specimen of Palladian architecture. Originally, it was called Paradise House, the then-residence of a wealthy merchant. (Gleaner, July 12th, 2013)
