Coruba is a blend of pot and column still rums that have been aged in oak barrels for at least two years. Coruba Jamaica Rum takes its inspiration from the traditional dark Planter’s style rums for which Jamaica is known, but this full-flavored rum has a smooth finish, perfectly topped off with the aromas and flavors of molasses, cocoa and caramel.

The name Coruba was created from the name of the Company that originally owned the brand, Compania Rum Basle and the unique tropical island sunset that remains a hallmark of the brand today, was created by Rudolf J. Wakelin, a Swiss-German chemist, who was the Managing Director of Compania Rum Basle at that time. Source: Coruba Rums
