Time to put my feet up! Clog-maker who runs father-and-son business closes the doors after 65 years making wooden shoes
Joseph Strong & Son its closing its doors after 65 years of making
clogs. Will Strong has been working at the shop since 1972 after his
father opened it in 1948. Speaking of its closure he said: 'I suppose
it's sad but it's just the way of the world.' The shop has attracted
some famous customers over the years including a world champion dancer
in the 1970s.
