Titanic 'relics'

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

Pawnbroker pays £15,000 for bunch of Titanic 'relics' handed over in an old carrier bag... and finds they're worth £1.2million

Mark Manning was amazed when a collector brought the relics to his pawnbroker shop in Deeside, near Chester, and sold them to him for £15,000. The artefacts came with original paperwork which prove their history, and have attracted offers of up to £1.2million. Mr Manning however is in no rush to sell the items which he feels should be admired by the public.
