Sir David Frost, the man who shamed a president, dies at 74 after suffering a heart attack on board cruise liner the Queen Elizabeth
The veteran broadcaster had an extraordinary career but is still best known for forcing President Nixon to admit his involvement in the Watergate scandal in a series of television interviews (centre). He was on the ship to give a speech on Saturday evening but fell ill and medical staff were unable to save him. Sir David leaves behind his wife Carina (left) and three sons. Described as a 'fearsome interviewer' by David Cameron, he is pictured, right, near the beginning of his career.
