There was danger and gangster-style drama during filming of the 70’s classic, The Mack as murder, mayhem and beef with the Black Panthers on set for filming based on the real life pimp and drug dealer from Oakland, Ca., Frank Ward brought the real drama to life. Known as one of the biggest African American dope dealers and pimps of that era, the movie was shot in his “territory” and the Black Panthers control a large part of Oakland.  Read on ,,,
