Sixty never-before-seen photographs of screen stars released to celebrate magazine's six decades in print

TV Times celebrates 60th birthday with photos of Helen Mirren and Michael Caine
These never-before-seen photographs of screen stars, including Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Bruce Forsyth, have been released in celebration of the TV Times's 60th anniversary. And they are certainly a blast from the past. The images show Mirren smiling as she lounges on a furry sofa in a silky golden gown in 2005 (right), Forsyth staring across a room, deep in thought, in 1967 (top left), Sir Ian McKellen relaxing in a blue shirt and socks (bottom left), and a younger Joanna Lumley posing for a stunning close-up, with glossy lips, rosy cheeks and a mop of brown curls (inset). The pictures are part of the magazine's 60 Years, 60 Iconic Images exhibition, which is open from September 17 to October 18 at the Blue Fin Building and Platform, Southwark, in London
