The 1968 riot that erupted in that city in the wake of Martin Luther King's assassination on April 4th as grief and anger led to devastation in over 120 cities across the US. In Baltimore, riots lasted from 6 - 14 April with 6 fatalities, 700 injuries and 1000 businesses devastated. Images
