Aunt Pittypat's home in Atlanta

'The house as it appeared in GWTW. The interior sets also had part of the 'exterior' built on one of the soundstages. During the nighttime exodus form Atlanta, Rhett carries Melanie to the wagon, and then laughs at Scarlett for locking the front door- " I'm laughing at you trying to lock the Yankees out ! ". Viewers of that scene can see right into the font hallway and the stairs.The continuity was needed. In another daytime scene, Aunt Pittypat is fleeing the onslaught of the Yankee army moving closer to Atlanta and is confronted by Dr Meade. Looking at the front door of the house, there is just a simple wall and dressing to suggest the interior ( instead of seeing the full stairway as above ).'
