Audrey Hepburn

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

Audrey Hepburn made her Broadway debut on this date in 1951 in Anita Loos' adaptation of Collette's "Gigi." The show ran for 219 performance. Seven years later, the musical version of "Gigi" starring Leslie Caron was released.
