Nikola Tesla

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

1943: last photo of Nikola Tesla, New York
On 7 January 1943, aged 86, Tesla died alone in room 3327 at the New Yorker Hotel.
When Tesla died, the Office of Alien Property confiscated his belongings. Most were later released to his family, many ended up in the Tesla Museum in Belgrade, which opened in the 1950s. Although, some of Tesla's papers are still classified by the U.S. government.
As a result of many years of secrecy, scientists have speculated on the fantastic inventions that may have been suppressed.
