Shirley Temple

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

After being cast in the Fox musical "Stand Up and Cheer," Shirley Temple is signed to a one-year contract with the studio on this date in 1933.

The five-year-old received $150 a week.
