A section of a 1,900 year old Roman super highway has been unearthed in Dorset Forest that ran from Badbury Rings to the Fort at Dorchester in England and was constructed by Roman invaders for troop movements from Londinium (London) to Exeter (Isca) and formed part of their road network from Old Sarum (now Salisbury) to Exeter.
