MTV charts 30 years of entertainment milestones from the first music video - "Video Killed the Radio Star" followed by Micheal Jackson's "Thriller" and Madonna's "Like a Virgin." 

Cindy Crawford's breakout moment on "House of Style" and the "Beavis and Butt-Head" cult comic.  "Unplugged", the "VMAs" and more entertainment innovation have channeled the changing themes on MTV. 

Although the MTV of my teen years is the MTV that enthralled me - today's MTV not-so-much.
