World War II bunker converted to bungalow

de bene esse: literally, of well-being, morally acceptable but subject to future validation or exception

The Home Front! Former WWII bunker used to guard Britain's cliffs against the Nazis has been converted into a three-bedroom bungalow... and it's on sale for £275,000

Elizabeth Strutton, 42, (right) lives in a World War II bunker in Land's End, Cornwall. It was used as a listening post to connect pilots and men on the ground. From the outside the property (top), has barely changed at all. But inside it has undergone a complete transformation (bottom left) and looks just like any other three-bedroom bungalow. Ms Strutton renovated it and planned to move out - then the property market crashed. She is now selling it for £275,000.
